Although Pope Francis won't be arriving in the United States until September, his cardboard cut-out has become a pretty popular two-dimensional celebrity in its own right.

Fans of both the pope's beliefs and his personal style have taken to smizing with cardboard versions of Francis, posing in ways the real pope probably wouldn't be so comfortable with.

"We'd love to have the real Pope Francis, but this is the best we're going to get and we're thrilled to have him," one man told the Associated Press.

It's better than waiting in a long line to meet the real thing, we guess?
