Grammy-nominated singer Carly Rae Jepsen, whose viral song "Call Me Maybe" spent nine weeks last year at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, needs your help.
She's performing during American Idol's two-night finale on May 15 and wants you to choose the lyrics, stage effects, instruments, dancers' outfits and other performance elements -- via online polls over the next eight weeks as part of Coke's Perfect Harmony program.
This week's poll, for example, asks: "Which lyrics should Carly use in the first stanza of the first verse?" Participants are then tasked to vote for one of three choices.
Voters will be eligible to win tickets to the American Idol finale as well as Coke prizes.
Twenty-seven-year-old Jepsen is no stranger to roping in fans to influence her artistry. For her singles "This Kiss" and "Tonight I'm Getting Over You," she had fans create lyric videos.
