Carmun Reborn as Wikipedia & Facebook's Lovechild

Not sure what's been going on behind closed doors over at Carmun, but the social network for nerds just got cool. With a complete site redesign, Carmun has relaunched with a new look and a new attitude. From the looks of it, there aren't many new features, but the existing features have been enhanced to make the collaborative effort of writing a paper a much easier task.

You may recall our initial review of Carmun earlier this year. It's a site that helps you bookmark and organize information from across the web. You can also ask questions and give answers to users that could use a little help on the academic front. With the social sharing aspect of this bookmarking and collaboration tool, you can go to Carmun in order to find resources that someone else has bookmarked. This saves you time, and helps you get your school work done faster.

It's kind of like what Facebook meant to be until kids at frat parties learned the ease with which photos can be posted and shared. At any rate, here's a very funny clip from the folks over at Carmun, announcing the relaunch.
