Cartoon Doll Emporium, an online avatar creation and gaming network for tween girls, announced that Allen & Company LLC has acquired a minority equity interest in its company. Details of the deal were not disclosed.
Launched over a year ago, Cartoon Doll Emporium has seen healthy growth and expected to get more than four million users by the end of this month, which would be a 200% increase in twelve months. The fashion-themed games on Cartoon Doll Emporium enable users to create dolls and customize them with clothes and accessories in a drag'n'drop user interface. Some are more fully customizable than others, granting full range for editing colors, facial characteristics, backgrounds and more.
