Nintendo Fans Geek Out Over Cat Mario

LOS ANGELES -- Nintendo led the show at E3 on Tuesday, following Monday's news blast from Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft.

Although the live stream got off to rocky start, the company quickly soothed Internet users' fears with a secret weapon: cats.

Super Mario 3D World, available on Wii U, will feature a new suit for Mario that transforms him and other characters into cats and gives them the ability to run on all fours, climb up walls, pounce on enemies and scratch them with claws.

Naturally, the Internet geeked out over the new feline on Twitter.
