Nothing beats a nice cuddle with your cat, especially taking in nice, big whiffs of your precious feline's forehead. Everybody does it.
Japanese retailer Felissimo has developed a way of bottling that sweet, aromatic smell from your cat's forehead so you can take it where ever you go in a fragrance called "Moho Mohu Odeko no Kaori Fabric Water," or "Fluffy Forehead Fragrance Fabric Water" in English.
According to Rocket News, the fragrance was concocted based on a combination of customer survey responses and perfumers from the Yamamoto Perfumery working tirelessly to smell as many kitty foreheads as they needed to get just the right scent.
The fragrance is apparently slightly sweet, like the smell of baked bread. Some customers described it as "the smell of sunshine" or "a futon that's been dried in the sun." Sounds pleasant, depending on the futon.
A bottle of the sweet spray costs 1,293 yen (just over $10 USD) and can be used on any fabric. For cat lovers, it's a small price to pay if it gives their beloved cats a break from their loving arms for an hour or two. Cuddling with humans can be exhausting.
However, for the feline fanatics out there who have pet restrictions in their apartment buildings (or, perhaps significant others with allergies), Felissimo also sells fluffy cat pillows that you can use the spray on. Consider this your new de-stressing routine.
