Anyone who thinks selfies are worthless hasn't met The Chainsmokers, who last year parlayed society's obsession with those photos into a priceless hit song titled "#Selfie."

Since then, DJ duo Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall have traveled the world to perform their social media-centric EDM track. Now they're taking you behind the scenes of their global adventures in their newest music video, "Roses," which features pop singer Rozes.

"The video is really about our lives while on the road, juxtaposed with the special small moments we get to spend with our girls," the pair told Mashable via email. "We feel like it captures the spirit of the song in a really honest way, in the classic tour video perspective. We travel a lot away from family and friends, but our jobs are addicting -- along with all the moments we get to share with each other, our fans and girls along the way."

The Chainsmokers -- who have released "Kanye" and "Let You Go" this year since the debut of "#Selfie" -- collaborated with Rozes after discovering her song "Limelight."

"She came with some rough lyrical ideas that were great, and we had some sounds we were really liking," the duo explained. "Also interesting to know is at that point we were super inspired by 'Blank Space' by Taylor Swift -- not sure if you can hear the connections."

The video also stars visual artist Rory Kramer, who occasionally used a GoPro camera to capture footage along parts of the group's North America and Asia tour stops.

"Roses" is The Chainsmokers' second single released on Adam Alpert's Disruptor Records.

The tour continues in Europe and North America for the next two months, and the duo has no immediate plans to release a full studio album: "Aside from [touring] we are planning to release a new original song every month for the foreseeable future," they said, "until we feel it's time to really dig in and work on an album, whenever that might be."
