They're at it again -- no, not lip plumping or Zayn mourning.

Teens don't always have comprehension of consequences, but you'd think that summoning demons on social media would throw up a red flag. The hashtag #CharlieCharlieChallenge took over Twitter Memorial Day weekend. In the challenge, participants balance two pencils perpendicularly and ask a spirit named Charlie a question, who then supposedly moves the pencils to reveal an answer.

There are a lot of stories circulating about who or what exactly Charlie is. Some say he's a young boy who committed suicide, others are certain he's a demon or group of demons that will bring chaos into your home.

Either way. Summoning Charlie is bad news.

But teens don't care -- they never learned their lesson from playing Bloody Mary at summer camp. They quickly flooded social media with both serious and comical attempts to contact Charlie. If he is real, Charlie is going to be a very busy demon.
