Ah, Christmas: the time of reindeer, mince pies and Nativity scenes made from cheese.

Prudence Staite, a food artist from Gloucestershire, U.K., has defied the laws of dairy this festive season and hand crafted the Biblical Nativity scene using 40 kilograms of cheddar. Yes, cheddar. Complete with two donkeys, two sheep, a cow and Three Wise Men carrying Branston Pickle gifts for the baby Cheesus, Staite's Nativity scene is a masterpiece of cocktail sticks and carving that took five days to make in total.
