Chewie, throw home.

Chewbacca made an appearance at Fenway Park on Monday along with his buddies Han, Princess Leia, and the rest of the Star Wars crew, to throw the first pitch at a Boston Red Sox, Tampa Bay Rays game.

This particular pitch was in honor of the geekiest of all holidays, May the 4th, also known at Star Wars Day -- but there are also now dozens of Star Wars days at ballparks throughout the U.S. over the long baseball season.

Luckily for the Empire, the Death Star is no baseball.
