A girl in Chongqing always dreamed of becoming a mermaid. And as an adult, she made that dream a reality.
Pan Gaojie, 22, is a model turned mermaid. She was introduced to this unique hobby when she was recruited to perform for a hotel promotion last summer. But the costume wasn't exactly what she had always envisioned, so she started making her own tails and selling them online.
And though she can't yet live under the waves, she certainly makes a splash in local pools, where she practices swimming.
