America is afraid of the nipple. Well, female nipples at least.

Despite Chelsea Handler's valiant attempts at exposing her full breasts on Instagram, and the #FreeTheNipple equality movement that has picked up steam in the last year, websites, television and social media platforms continue to censor female nipples, while men can walk around free in the breeze.

Comedian and talk-show host Chris Hardwick went on a rant on @Midnight Wednesday, after Miley Cyrus' nude photo shoot in V Magazine was censored due to "seemingly arbitrary censorship rules." Hardwick compared it to his own Instagram photo of his exposed nipple.

He then went on to compare the difference between pornography and an exposed breast, and closed his argument by reminding people that there are more important issues in the word than nipples.
