You're probably hearing carols everywhere already, and seeing decorations go up -- but aren't you just thinking about what you're getting for Christmas?

Lucky primates, meerkats and a tortoise from Sydney's Taronga Zoo didn't have to wait, receiving their Christmas presents nice and early on Friday.

Chimpanzees were given gingerbread houses and tree decorations, eager to find the banana and sweet potato inside. Meerkats were treated to their favourite mealworms in stockings, while the tortoises feasted on watermelons carved into Christmas trees.

Here's the pics, just to get you psyched for Christmas morning.
