If the stressful Christmas season is already nightmarish enough for you, look away -- the first trailer for Krampus makes even the most raucous dysfunctional family party look like a cake walk.

Sure, you've got your October horror flicks on your Google calendar (Guillermo del Toro's upcoming Crimson Peak, for one), but it's about time that someone released a Christmas horror movie based around the anti-Santa Claus who terrorizes misbehaving children.

From the looks of it, Michael Dougherty's Krampus is equal parts horror and comedy, with Adam Scott (Parks and Recreation's Ben Wyatt) and David Koechner (The Office's Todd Packer) providing welcome comedic relief from the hairy, hoofed creature who knows when you've been bad or good.
