This pumpkin pie is like a Thanksgiving fairy tale come true.

Photographer Christine H. McConnell is as passionate about baking as she is about getting a beautiful shot, so she turned her fall dessert into a magical carriage, and she didn't even need a fairy god mother to do it.

According to her post on Imgur, her first two attempts at the intricate piece "ended in disaster." Even advanced bakers like McConnell don't get it perfect on the first try.

The base of the carriage is a gorgeous, traditional pumpkin pie, which is covered by a guilded, crusty top filled with an Italian meringue. "I thought up the idea to create a pastry net for added support...Once the crust was in place I filled it...and baked it at a low temp; till it just started puffing through the holes," McConnell wrote on Imgur.

Once Cinderella was ready to ride in style, McConnell also did a photo shoot with the leftover pumpkin.

McConnell often likes to celebrate the season. Over Halloween, she transformed her house into a giant monster-inspired haunted house.

More photos of her impressive projects can be seen on her Instagram.
