More than 15,000 fireworks shows will help kick off Fourth of July celebrations around the country this weekend.
And that's just the professional shows. In total, about 213 million pounds of fireworks are sold annually in the United States, according to the American Pyrotechnics Association.
While Hurricane Arthur is causing some problems on the East Coast (for the first time ever, Boston will hold its fireworks on July 3), millions of revelers will still look toward the skies for explosions of color.
