Clearspring has been cranking out new features for its widget services, especially on the advertising end, in an effort to make them more attractive to more brands across a variety of use-cases. In doing so, the need for metrics and other functional capabilities has been a growing concern for the widget maker. So Clearspring has decided to team up with ScanScout, an online video advertising firm that's quickly growing its client base.
Having just signed the BBE last week, and running video ads for a number of television broadcasters, ScanScout is emerging as a viable alternative to the pre- and post-roll ads that have been the standard for online video advertising in the past several months.
