The U.N. Climate Summit in Paris has brought together representatives from every country in the world to adopt a new global climate agreement. And to make an impact and to bring more awareness to the important climate talks, the fashion industry is catwalking across the world to rally some support.

With the hashtag #ClimateCatwalk, celebrities, photographers, editors, to stylists are utilizing their social presence to create a lively conversation about the talks. The initiative could help compensate for the cancellation of many climate rallies that were set to take place in Paris, but were canceled due to the Nov. 13 terrorist attacks in Paris.

The brainchild of the stylist and photography agency, Art Partner, by its founder Giovanni Testino and Amber Olson, the initiative has already been posted by everyone from publications like Vogue Italia, photographers like Mario Testino, and supermodels like Anja Rubik. By catwalking on social media, the hope is to bring together people from all across the globe in what is considered as the first "virtual march."

"I'm worried about the planet," says Olson. "This is the single biggest issue of our time and we wanted to make it approachable and give it a voice. With the cancellation of the big global march in Paris that was planned for Nov. 29, it is now even more important to make the message stronger and more meaningful."

Testino echoes that sentiment.

"I am hoping that all at COP21 take responsibility and commit to serious energy reforms," says Testino, referencing the formal U.N. acronym for the climate summit. "Every bit counts."
