The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival's kaleidoscope of lights and colors are irresistible to the Instagram crowd. But hundreds of thousands don't turn out just for the mountain views, the California weather and the chance to wear floral crowns. Crowds flock to Coachella to see the biggest artists on today's music scene.
This year's headliners are a mix of classic and contemporary, with AC/DC, Jack White and Drake all taking the top spots across the two-weekend festival. But despite their leading performance slots, none came out on top on Instagram.
Instagram pulled data from the festival's first official weekend to determine the 10 shows with the most engagement -- meaning likes and comments -- on photos featuring relevant hashtags and keywords. Spoiler: EDM reigns supreme.
