coComment, the comment and reply tracking service, has launched a few new features today.
Here's something wonderful: publishers can offer the coComment service on their sites, relieving other users from having to download the software to see and track comments. These users can go to the publisher's site on coComment to track threads. This feature isn't as helpful as the full service is for individual users, but enables publishers to have added value to their own sites. It's available for Wordpress, Movable Type and Drupal as a plug-in.
The site's own conversations have grown so much that the ability to make friends on the site and track within each other's coComments threads has also been added, and hosted comments can now be searched from the site as well. coComment is also at Supernova this week, and is currently working towards a new beta release.
