With all these celebrities flocking to the web launching or slapping their names on various social networks, there's bound to be some reaction from the media. Maybe even the blogosphere. ;) Comment-tracking tool coComment has decided to take advantage of the growing celebrity interest in online publications by promoting its service as a way to keep tabs on what the online publications are saying about them. Two of the first celebrities to endorse coComment's platform are Marina from HotForWords, and child actor Danny Bonaduce.
"First was my use of MySpace to interact with my listeners," replied Bonaduce, "but coComment takes things to another level. It would seem to me that any celebrity who wants a real interaction with their fan base would want to hook up with coComment."
Such celebrity endorsements didn't seem like something coComment was necessarily going after based on my previous experience with the company, but coComment then informed me that an important company objective is to take its services mainstream.
