Cartoonist turns coffee cups into comics to brighten your morning

There's nothing better than starting the day with some fresh coffee, but what do you do with the leftover paper cup? Throw it away?

Pffft, please. One man has a better idea.

Cartoonist Josh Hara uses the back of his coffee cups as a canvas for funny and intricate comics, ranging in topic from our never-ending coffee addiction to celebrity spoofs and more.

“I think that if I was just sharing cartoons on a flat piece of paper, people wouldn’t be enjoying them as much as they have been,” Hara told Mashable. “I think there is some extra interest in taking something we see every day, something that often gets thrown into the trash, and transforming it into a piece of artwork.”

Hara has posted his pictures on Instagram with the hashtag #100CoffeeCups. His goal is to draw comics on, you guessed it, 100 cups. Enjoy some of his best work while you're sipping from your own future comic book.
