The music video for Coldplay's "Hurts Like Heaven," the sixth single from Mylo Xyloto, hit YouTube Monday.
A vibrantly colored comic book's pages are turned throughout the three-and-a-half minute video. The clip depicts Major Minus, who's challenged by the uprising of his people, and catalogs events leading to a quasi-animated backlash before the tumult is once again suppressed by their leader.
The video is a prequel to a six-part comic series, which is available for pre-order.
"Issue one of the Mylo Xyloto comic series tells the story of Mylo Xyloto, a young Silencer on the front lines of a war against sound and color in the world of Silencia," describes the Coldplay store.
