Clicking on either a name or a pin pulls up information about that student's post-graduation plans, making it easy to track at a glance the locations of one's fellow students after leaving the Colgate fold.
Eight of the 200 seniors on the map thus far also have video profiles on the site, detailing some of the major takeaways from their school careers and the life goals they're setting out to accomplish as they leave college.
Imagine the power of this dynamic map style if it was handed off to alumni associations as well. Class officers could keep the "yearbook" updated online as a supplement or even replacement for the often quarterly updates on class members' activities and projects via print or e-mail. Tapping into your classmates' lives after college would be easier and closer to "real-time" than ever.
