If you missed it -- well, "missed" isn't quite the right word here, but anyway -- sports radio host Colin Cowherd recently went on a cruel rant against esports gamers. It was a monologue that could have been pulled straight out of a middle school locker-room.
Well guess what, Colin? Sports radio hosts don't actually sit all that high up in the food chain of belittlement.

Cowherd's broadside against esports gamers hit the predictable notes: They are all pathetic nerds who live with their moms and eat Hot Pockets in their bedrooms that have never welcomed a female visitor. So on and so forth.
NBA star Gordon Hayward, however, doesn't exactly fit that stereotype. He's a 6-foot-8, 225-pound swingman playing on a four-year, $63 million contract for the Utah Jazz. And he's an esports enthusiast who doesn't take kindly to Cowherd picking on gamers.
Hayward dug up an old photo of Cowherd and tweeted the following Tuesday evening:
Hold up...@ColinCowherd is making fun of gamers for being dorks? People in glass houses... pic.twitter.com/L5UjhErkyT— Gordon Hayward (@gordonhayward) September 30, 2015
*Ambulance sirens are heard in the distance*
Unconfirmed reports say Cowherd is being transported to a local burn ward as we speak.
Hayward, meanwhile, spent the off-season getting super buff. Here's a before-and-after comparison:

Must take a lot of video game-playing to get swole like that.
