Many people hate their jobs, but it's a rare occasion when a disgruntled employee gets to voice his disdain to a large chunk of the Internet.
On Reddit's Ask Me Anything platform, an anonymous Comcast employee known as "dlenoxx" started a session entitled, "I work for Comcast, and it is ruining my life". The user answered Redditors' questions pertaining to the notoriously bad customer service practices of Comcast, company policies against illegal file sharing, outsourcing, the blame game and much more.
"The stress from being one of the few in my office that know how to, and actually want to, fix things is overwhelming [sic] when it seems there are more rules in place to prevent that than help," the employee said in the session's description. Throughout the Q&A, things got a bit heated as Redditors shared their own stories of bad experiences with Comcast. A huge number of current and former Comcast employees chimed in with agreement with the original poster.
