Some Gilmore Girls fans are actually Gilmore guys.

With Netflix's upcoming revival of the classic sitcom, people are constantly making guesses as to which cast members will make their triumphant return to Stars Hollow.

Comedian Benjamin Siemon is taking this Gilmore obsession one step further by promoting himself as the newest member of the cast.

"When I heard Gilmore Girls was coming back, it just seemed natural that I should try to make myself part of in," he told Mashable in an email. "But ... I don't have an acting agent, so I would probably have to pursue that through unconventional means, which for me is inserting myself into classic settings of The Gilmore Girls."

While Siemon is a funny guy first and foremost, he certainly wouldn't turn down a part if it were offered to him.

"My number one goal is to make people laugh, but closely behind that goal is the hopes that Netflix or the Casting Director for Netflix would take it seriously and have me come in to do one line for an episode," he said. "It would be amazing to be a small part of a show that I've grown to love so much. I would do or say anything."

Siemon uses his tweets and Photoshop skills to prove that point, showing that he's up for any acting job the Gilmore Girls casting department might decide to throw at him.

Despite the fact that Siemon considers himself more of a writer, he's currently practicing his acting chops as recurring character 'Grocery Clerk With Half an Eyelid' on The CW's Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

"That isn't a joke," Siemon said. "I heard in coverage of the revival they might need a Man Who Never Smiles and that is definitely something I could do. Netflix, call me. Even if I could ask for a refill in Luke's Diner, my dream would come true."

Perhaps his time on The CW hit will help get him there.

As for the future of Siemon's Gilmore Girls-inspired pleas for a role on the newest season, he says there is, unfortunately, an end date.

"I'll probably keep up the tweets for the next few weeks until I know all hope is truly lost," he told Mashable. "But the good thing about Netflix is they keep reviving shows like Full House, so who knows what show I can start a campaign for next? Maybe Buffy the Vampire Slayer in 2017?"
