We've heard of birthday suits, but what about shoes?

One brand is now offering celebratory, birthday-inspired shoes, so you can have your cake and wear it, too.

Common Projects, the slick American sneaker brand, is home to the popular Achilles style, a staple for any serious fashion dude. Ever since its debut in 2004, the shoe has been heralded as a style that can be taken seriously dressed down in sweatpants or dressed up in items like suits.

Now, to celebrate its second anniversary at New York City's Dover Street Market, the place of all things a little weird, a lot wild and very exclusive, the sneaker came out with shoes to fete its birthday.

The collaboration took itself very literally, creating a sprinkled birthday cake look for its sole. The shoes retail for a hefty $425, but if you're in to treat yourself or want to celebrate a loved one's birthday, grab a pair -- they're so sweet, they'll probably be gone very, very soon.
