It's been a very confusing year, for both humans and animals alike.

From cows who got stuck in chairs, to dogs who had an intense suspicion of inanimate objects, here are some of our most priceless and adorable instances of animal confusion in 2015.

Here's hoping 2016 turns out to be a little less vexing for all of us.

1. The bulldog puppy that had never seen rain before.

What the heck is all this weird water stuff?

2. The cow that forgot how chairs worked.

Sometimes mornings are difficult.

3. The corgi that refused to understand or accept a tiny pumpkin.

Autumnal gourds are always such troublemakers.

4. The scampish raccoon that thought phones were meant to be washed.

Your objects must be cleaned, filthy humans!

5. The cat that was utterly perplexed by his own reflection.

Who IS that beautiful creature?

6. The bear that took a wrong turn on the way to the forest and ended up in a high school.

But maybe he just wanted to get an education?

7. A big, tough boxer that was convinced a tiny feather was UP TO NO GOOD.

Tiny, floaty things cannot be trusted.

8. The cat that mistook a cucumber for a murderous dagger.

It's ... it's just a vegetable, cat. Calm down.

9. The bulldog that found his birthday cupcake to be totally untrustworthy.

Baked good are extremely suspicious.

10. The cat that had no idea what to do when a flower was placed on his head.
