Back in May, Kristen wrote about an interesting startup that gave you the ability to turn your email address into a web-accessible URL. It's a simple service that is easy to use.  Once you've set up an account, you simply give out a URL with a contact form, and those interested in emailing you can do so without there being a danger of releasing your email address into the spam-scraping wilderness.

The site, we've found, is up for sale. Found on SitePoint, the service is asking a mere $10,000 to buy the service outright (although the bidding is currently only at $5,000). The project itself was a simple bootstrap, so that it has gone up for sale as the owner has decided to move on to other projects isn't surprising.  He provides a screenshot of the server traffic, which is a pretty decent match to the publicly available Compete statistics.

The site has a number of assets, all with decent numbers behind them.  They have a Contactify Widgetbox widget with over 7,500+ subscriptions and an average rating of 4/5 stars. In terms of usage, the site has around 15,989 registered, with around two thirds of those having gone and activated the registration (though no usage data was given in terms of active users).
