LONDON -- Worlds are set to collide after Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor announced he will be lending his infamous scream to an upcoming episode of BBC's Doctor Who.

Taylor's character, called Fisher King, is a green hulk of a creature with horns, according to the Mirror. Although Fisher King's speaking voice will be provided by English actor and comedian Peter Serafinowicz, and its 7ft 7" physical presence owed to Britain's tallest man, Neil Fingleton, it's Corey's scream that will give the villain its terrifying edge.

Yep, that's terrifyingly edgy alright.

A self-professed Whovian, Corey was supposedly more than happy to lend a hand with creating the new series when he received a call from producers ahead of Slipknot's Cardiff date - where the sci-fi drama is filmed - in January.
