Another day, another exotic Oreo flavor to end that "cleanse" you've been on.

This time, it's cotton candy Oreos, and to quote the words of a colleague, "They taste like pure unadulterated sugar." Yum.

The cotton candy flavor combines a golden vanilla cookie with a mix of pink and blue frosting -- perfect for your gender-reveal baby shower. Here are other reviews from Mashable's very professional taste-testers:

"They taste like cotton candy."

"Not the worst, not the best."

"Would eat a whole sleeve."

"They taste like corn syrup."

There were hushed rumors of a cotton candy Oreo in late February when the Instagram account cookie0man leaked images of the packaging. But the company declined to comment on their existence at the time.

Cotton candy joins a long list of limited-edition Oreo flavors such as red velvet, cookie dough and marshmallow. But seeing as this is a Target-exclusive flavor -- and the last time Target released a flavor, the world was given the hellish watermelon Oreo -- tread carefully.

Cotton candy Oreos will begin appearing on Target shelves starting April 1, and will be available across the United States from April 14 until the end of May.

Go on, buy a pack. Hell, buy four. You deserve it because life is hard and sugar is great.
