A 35-year-old man is being charged with a misdemeanor count of trespassing for hopping a fence at the Columbus Zoo and posting a video of himself petting cougars.
The video shows a man hopping an outer fence at the zoo and petting multiple cougars through another fence. All the while, the man is saying, "Here kitty kitty kitty, good kitty."
A spokesperson for the Delaware County sheriff's office said that Joshua Newell was served a summons to appear in court on July 29 for the incident.
