On the long drive back from picking up her new puppy Humphry, Abby Lee and her photographer friend Elisha Collins were joking around when they had an idea. Sixteen sweet photos later, Humphry has the cliché newborn photo shoot he rightfully deserves.
Collins, Lee and Lee's partner, Matt, went all out for the shoot, placing the puppy in a white wicker stroller and swaddling him in a tiny baby blanket.
"The pup was enjoying every second of it, and all the treats he was getting," Collins wrote to Mashable via email.
She was quick to clarify that the photo shoot was done in good humor, and that the photos are not meant to mock traditional newborn photoshoots or the couples who choose to have them.
"People say we have way too much time on our hands, that is not the case, we just prefer to be creative outdoors rather then sit inside watching TV," she added.

This couple isn't the first to stage a sweet newborn shoot for their puppy-- Count It Joy Photography did a similarly adorable shoot in 2014.
