Courtney Love Drops the F-Bomb in Ad for E-Cigarettes

Courtney Love makes a characteristically profane appearance in this ad for NJOY e-cigarettes.

The former Hole frontwoman is shown puffing away at some upper-class function. After someone rats her out, a haughty woman tells her, "You know, you can't smoke in here," to which Love replies, "Relax," and explains in her own way that it's an NJOY.

In reality, Love's reply may fall flat. Though e-cigarettes give off an odorless vapor rather than smoke, they are increasingly being banned from workplaces and other public settings anyway. So far, however, only one state -- New Jersey -- has banned e-cigs wherever smoking is not allowed. New York, however, has banned the smoking of e-cigarettes within 100 feet of a public or private school entrance in September 2012. The state also banned e-cigarette sales to minors this year.
