CraveOnline Wants More Basketball: Acquires Two Niche Sites

CraveOnline's male-oriented destination site is looking to expand its content features and take advantage of the current March Madness madness by acquiring HoopsVibe and StreetBallTalk. These two sites are both focused on basketball (obviously), and will further CraveOnline's plan to bulk up its online property portfolio.

CraveOnline's parent company, AtomicOnline, is actually the one looking for additional niche sites for its family of online properties, further solidifying the current, second wave of niche site acquisitions for a consolidated approach to online advertising, among other things.

[img src="" caption="" credit="" alt=""]HoopsVibe and StreetBallTalk have both been around for a while. HoopsVibe was founded in 2002, while StreetBallTalk is a bit younger, having been founded in 2005. HoopsVibe has a broader catch-all approach to the presentation of basketball-oriented content, featuring news stories, top prospects for high school and the NCAA, merchandise releases, training schemes, diet plans and more.
