For cat lovers, the only thing better than one adorable kitty is a dozen adorable kitties.

Montreal-based photographer Andréanne Lupien celebrates cat ladies and cat gentlemen in her whimsical photography series, Crazy Cat Lovers. Each image captures a cat owner with their furry companion (or companions), duplicated multiple times over.

While cats have never been more popular (thanks to the Internet), Lupien's inspiration also comes from her own personal love of felines. "I had fun taking pictures of myself with my cat, putting it around me in the room so that the final picture would result in my cat being multiple times in the photography doing multiple actions," she said to Mashable.

However, if you give some of these owners a few more years, Lupien's photographs might not be that far off from reality. While some of her volunteers only had a single pet to reproduce in the photograph, others had up to six separate cats running around on furniture, crawling on the walls or sometimes jumping through the air in each image.

"It was a great adventure ... Every picture had its own essence and energy, its own universe. It was like visiting a person's unique world," she said.

More of Lupien's photographs, both human and feline, can be found on her website.
