Though summer barbecues are a pastime we can all get behind, things get tricky when the one backyard item you lack is a grill to cook your meal on.
When you lack access to a proper grill, don't resign yourself to takeout. Instead, get creative with the items you do have access to, like hot lava or an old shopping cart.
