Puppets are generally pretty creepy. Puppets of Vladimir Putin are just downright terrifying.

German auction house Auction Team Breker plans to sell a mechanical figurine of the Russian president crafted by famous Swiss puppet maker Christian Bially.

The 20-inch doll features Putin sitting at a writing desk signing the "Treaty of Acceptance of the Republic of Crimea Into the Russian Federation." Not only is Tiny Putin writing with a feather quill, he is also lighted by an itty bitty oil lamp. Tiny, mechanical Russia hasn't discovered electricity yet.

The doll also plays creepy lullaby music and probably won't come to life in the middle of the night like a demonic harbinger of evil. Don't judge a puppet by its terrifying black eyes.

There is currently no set price for the figurine. According to The Moscow Times, previous creations by Bially have sold for more than $6 million. The auction will be held in Cologne on Nov. 14 and Nov. 15.

If you really want to play it safe, you can still capture the true essence of the Russian leader and print off a poster size version this little gem instead.
