Photo of a defiled stack of crêpes is outrageously upsetting

Foodies, be warned that what you are about to see is extremely disturbing.

Reddit user HZGQuickSilver shared a photo of a stack of beautiful crêpes made by their French coworker that had been monsterously destroyed by another anonymous coworker. The user captioned the photo, "English people are barbarians."

Some people just want to watch the world burn.

For those who are not well versed in the delicate ways of crêpe eating, they are a thinner, more elegant version of pancakes, and they must be treated as such. Cutting into a stack of crêpes as if it were a cake officially ruins the dish for anyone else who wanted to enjoy. In plain terms, it's downright tacky.

This is a crêpe-tastrophe.

The crêpe maker even placed several jams, a jar of Nutella and a bottle of maple syrup on the table, around the stack of crêpes, to hint to any interested diners that these are beautiful, fancy pancakes. Not a regular cake.

Imgur users were also shocked and disgusted by the sight. The crêpe-slicer might face the guillotine for their crime.

According to HZGQuickSilver's post on Reddit, the crêpe criminal has not yet come forward. Perhaps that's for the best.
