Well, Cristiano Ronaldo has earned his paycheck for the year.

For most of the USA Portugal World Cup match, Ronaldo just strutted around with his full-on pout face on display. He had some falls and some derpy running moments to boot.

When most of Portugal had given up on their would-be superstar by the final seconds of the game, Ronaldo pulled out the stops, proving he's more than just a pretty face. Ronaldo sent the ball down the right and centered to Varela, who scored a last-minute goal, tying up the game -- and solidifying the most epic assist of the entire World Cup.

Soccer (football) fans around the globe were in shock. But did Ronaldo know the game plan all along?

He's like the Illuminati of haircare.
