Cristiano Ronaldo's talent on the pitch is matched in prodigiousness only by the popular perception of him as a vain, image-obsessed soccer diva.

The legend of Ronaldo's outsized ego has now grown again after an official from a Spanish wax museum shared a rather bizarre tidbit.

Speaking on a Spanish radio show, Gonzalo Presa, communications director of the Madrid Wax Museum, said that, like Ronaldo himself in the real world, the Real Madrid star's wax likeness at the museum enjoys a bit of preferential treatment.

"Cristiano told us to be sure his figure was perfect," Presa said, according to a translation from ESPNFC. "He sent his own hairstylist to brush his figure once a month."

If you're wondering just how a wax figure gets its hair brushed -- well, come on, you won't catch any wax Ronaldo in a wig. The man has standards.

"Cristiano's hair is natural," Presa said of the wax likeness. "It is not a wig and it comes from India."

No word on what sort of care Ronaldo requires for the boner-wielding statue he recently unveiled of himself back home in Portugal.
