At least, that was the question for the likes of Kendall Jenner, Gigi and Bella Hadid who just walked in Chanel's couture show, a.k.a. the most prestigious fashion show in the world. On Tuesday, the girls strutted down the runway in Paris, where the French fashion house showcased the most meticulous of gowns.

Among the beautiful backdrop of the Grand Palais with runway looks ranging from flowing black gowns to heavily embellished frocks, it was the hairdo, inspired by the croissant, that stole the show. Yes, the buttery pastry did double duty as a delicious carb and also a new beauty inspo. One part Princess Leia, one part croissant, the hairstyle was every bit delectably chic.

"The inspiration was a Picasso sculpture which Karl showed me, with shaped hair in the back," Sam McKnight, the lead hair stylist and patissiere, explained to British Vogue. "My team spent three days making 80 large croissant shapes from wired foam covered in human hair."

Witnessing the entire event were celebrities including: Cara Delevingne, her dog Leo, and K-Pop star G Dragon, among others, who we are sure were salivating for some sinful carbohydrates.

With the croissant replacing Star Wars' cinnamon rolls from yesteryear, we're wondering what's next: The sprinkled donut, double-stuffed Oreos, or jelly-filled Twinkie? It's fashion -- anything (including lots of carbs) goes.
