The new Tumblr "Local People Arms Crossed" documents, well, just that. They took a look at several local newspapers and noticed a very common trend.

How can readers take these bros, their towns and their stories seriously if they don't see some crossed arms? Clearly, arms hanging limply at one's side doesn't carry the same gravitas. Clearly, local news photographers need to tap their creativity a bit more too.
