Berlin is known for its wealth of original tattoo artists, but there's no one quite like Peter Aurisch.
Aurisch, who works in Berlin as a printmaker, painter and tattoo artist, is heavily influenced by Picasso's Cubism style -- think heavy lines and geometric shapes.
Aurisch works mostly freehand, eschewing pre-designs and sketches. Sometimes, he even waits until the client arrives to the studio to begin the planning process.
The result is a series of bold, beautiful and unique works of art -- tattoos that are distinctly Aurisch.
Aurisch takes one appointment per day at his studio Johnny Nevada -- a space he shares with fellow tattoo artist Jessica Mach. He accepts inquires and appointment requests on his website.
