On-air, Current will have conventional election coverage – like covering the latest vote counts and making projections about which candidate is winning which states – complimented with user-submitted content. Just like the debates, they’ll be displaying selected content from users who include “#current” in their Tweets. As for the Digg component, Current will feature “Digg hosts” who report on the latest election-related stories being submitted to the site. Regarding video, users who hook up their webcams and opt-in will have the chance of having their comments broadcast on-air. Meanwhile, Current's election website will show the latest news being voted up and down by the site's users.
