Curse, the gaming portal, has received $5 million in a Series A round of funding.
The round was led by a French venture capital firm AGF Private Equity, and some angel investors participated as well. The MMOG company already raised about $800,000 in funding from angel investors prior to this Series A round. You may remember that Curse has recently undergone a few changes, including a change in name and the launch of its most recent version, which included the addition of several social networking components, and a partnership with Wikia was part of this version release.
