After being trapped inside for the past few days, there's nothing quite like snowball fight to celebrate a historic snowstorm.

The D.C. Snowball Fight Association organized a giant snow fight named "Snow Wars: The Snowball Strikes Back."

The fight was originally scheduled for Saturday, but since D.C.'s fourth largest snowstorm on record wreaked havoc on the area for most of the day, the fight was rescheduled to Sunday. D.C. had 17.8 inches of snow: best-case scenario for forming the perfect snowball.
