Manspreading, for those fortunate people unfamiliar with the phenomenon, is when a man spreads his legs so widely while sitting on the subway that he takes up multiple seats.

It's nothing new, but women have had enough, and they're taking a stand. The outrage is so widespread that New York City's transit authority even launched a campaign to discourage the behavior.

However, The Daily Show's senior women's issues correspondent, Kristen Schaal, doesn't think it's a big deal. She even defends the manspreaders of the world: “As a woman who has struggled her entire life to keep her knees together, I am your ally.”

Jon Stewart isn't so convinced, arguing that, as a man, he knows that manspreading is completely unnecessary. Naturally, that prompts Schaal to give Stewart's balls a heartfelt pep talk, encouraging them to roam free.

We're still a long way from resolving the manspreading debate, but at least people are finally taking this issue seriously.
