In an interview with Net-a-Porter's magazine The Edit, cover girl and actress Dakota Johnson delves deep into what we could only imagine caused some sort of underlying childhood trauma.

Raised by actress Melanie Griffith (Working Girl) and actor Don Johnson (Miami Vice), young Dakota was no stranger to film sets. In fact, she good a real eyeful on some of them.
“I was around for a lot of it and I would watch them. But there were also things I could see that I didn’t want to, like watch my parents have sex with other people," she told The Edit. "And there was a scene where my mom got slapped in the face. I lost my mind! I couldn’t deal with that at all.”
It looks like watching her parents shoot their various sex scenes didn't deter the 50 Shades of Grey star from shooting (many...) of her own.
However, mother and former sex scene performer Melanie Griffith notoriously stated that she refuses to watch daughter Johnson in the movie that thrust her into the spotlight.
"I don't think I can [see it]," Griffith famously said. "I think it might be strange."
When asked about her critics, Johnson shrugs.
“If people are into my work, great. But I just want to enjoy my job.”
